About ArgentinArts

ArgentinArts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Argentina through professional dance and music performances, arts education, and community engagement. Based in Los Angeles, we bring the rhythms, stories, and traditions of Argentine tango and folk to life on stages, in classrooms, and within communities.

Through live productions, cultural workshops, and accessible programming, we strive to inspire cross-cultural connection, uplift local artists, and create inclusive spaces where art and heritage thrive. At a time when technology often distances us, ArgentinArts invites audiences to reconnect through the shared human experience of movement, music, and storytelling.

Our Team

Founder & Executive Director - Giovanna Dan

A passionate advocate for cultural preservation and community arts, Giovanna holds a BA in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA. With a background in dance community leadership and performance production, Giovanna and her team oversee the strategic direction of ArgentinArts, manage operations, and build partnerships that keep the mission moving forward.

Artistic Direction – GD Tango

Internationally acclaimed tango duo Guillermo De Fazio & Giovanna Dan lead the artistic vision of ArgentinArts. With decades of combined experience performing, choreographing, and innovating Argentine tango on global stages — from Dancing with the Stars to the Hollywood Bowl — they bring depth, passion, and excellence to every performance. Their leadership ensures authenticity, artistry, and creative integrity in all our programming.
